Think I'll just stay on my private server for the remainder of the quest-line. I also got it to work by switching public servers, but I had to do so several times to get it to work. I wasn't on a team, I rarely do missions on a team, I prefer doing story quests solo, gives it more of the classic Fallout feel. So if you get this bug the best thing to try is a server hop/private server and not be in a team. It is kind of hard to troubleshoot because unlike previous games we could create a save and then run a bunch of tests. You also have the Nuka-Cola paints being one per server as well.Īnother possibility is the area is set up for the team leader and if they done the quest it may bug someone else trying. Well there has been quests in the past that were "once per server." The Overseer's fiance was one of those. I don't know for sure and would require further testing, but something for others to consider as this bug is reported often. In this case only the team leader would be allowed access past the laser grid? Only the team leader could access the instance. I'm curious if that was more of a 'teaming' bug like what used to happen at Vault-Tec Uni. ![]() Not sure how I could have progressed without having Fallout 1st. The only solution I have found is switching to my private server, doing that allows me through the grid. I have both keycards, I'm able to get in the elevator and open the gate to the safe room, however the laser grid turns purple and won't let me through. I'm at the stage on Trade Secrets where it says "Return to Penelope". Originally posted by Feesh:I'm having a similar, though not identical, bug. ![]()
